Jan-Peter Sander


Jan-Peter Sander is the primary contact for the lighthouse project “Nationwide family planning campaign in Nigeria” and the 2021-2022 Program of Scale “Together for healthy families in Nigeria”.

He was born in Hamburg/Germany in 1959, is married, and has two sons. He spent most of his professional career in various senior management positions within the chemical industry. Apart from working in Nigeria and Malaysia for numerous years he was e.g. Managing Director of BASF Personal Care and Nutrition GmbH in Monheim and at the same time Senior Vice President Europe responsible for the European cosmetic business.

Since his retirement in 2018, he has been dedicated to social projects such as his own foundation focusing on child and youth welfare. At the end of 2019, he became a member of the Rotary Club in Deidesheim Mittelhaardt/Germany and a board member of RMCH German Section e.V.
